The 'Binnenhof'

The ‘Binnenhof’ (Inner court) is one of the oldest and most beautiful places in The Hague. It is the center of politics in The Netherlands, where all matters and affairs of the state (since 1446) are being discussed. The eye-catching building in the middle of the courtyard is known as the Ridderzaal (Knights' Hall). This historical building is mainly used for the well-known 'Prinsjesdag', where the King delivers the speech of the throne in order to outline the government's agenda and focus points for the future periods.

The rich history and the historical sights make a visit to The 'Binnenhof' definitely worthwhile.
